Positive review of the MTB-Bande Sportsmen of the MTB-Bande Schatzki were active at various competitions in 2011

In 2011 the “MTB-Bande Schatzki” could live up to the successes of the last years. The season started with David Schatzki’s victory at the indoor motocross spectacle “Kings of Xtreme” at Leipzig in January.
Some month later he got the first champion title of the German
mountainbike-enduro all-terrain biking race in Altenberg.
In addition he won the legendary Meißner City-Downhill for the third time.
Konstantin Schade left behind a great impression because of some podium finishes and he was the second in the overall standing of the Bioracer Cross Challenge in December.
The outcomes of the mountain-bike relay teams were also remarkable. At the biggest
German mountain-bike race in Seiffen went the exellent second place over the distance of 100 km went to the team of Mario Eichler, Konstantin Schade and Marco Ferl. Hermes Schade was unlucky because he hurt himself at the worldcup in Leogang, Austria, and missed all the following races due to illness.
Very good results were achieved by the runners too.
Heino Vieweg and Ralph Mikosch got the places second and third in the overall standing at the “Meißner Sparkassen-Cup” and the “Mittelsächsische Lauftour” respectively.
The weekly training rounds of the cross-country bikers on Wednesdays enjoy big popularity.
And the “OAZ-Radtour” was also very popular under unpleasant conditions almost 100 bikers of all age groups took part.
